Permanent Makeup SEO and marketing for PMU studios and artists
Permanent makeup SEO is the work of making sure a person who types a brow, lip or liner question finds your studio page, and not only the biggest name in the trade. We build and run it for PMU studios and artists, from a single booth to a handful of locations, and we aim it at one thing: consultation requests your calendar can actually seat.
Every month is invoiced on its own, with no paperwork to sign and no startup fee. A plan that stops suiting the studio leaves the tray like a retired shade: send word before the next invoice.
Microblading is the loudest word, and it names one style of many
Search demand in this trade is lopsided. The single word microblading draws far more searches than the umbrella phrase permanent makeup, yet it describes one technique. People also type permanent brow makeup, cosmetic tattoo permanent makeup, lip blush and permanent eyeliner, and some type cejas microblading. Each of those is a person at a different point in deciding.
A studio that offers powder brows, combination brows, lip work and liner but shows them all on one services page asks that page to answer every searcher at once. Permanent makeup SEO, done properly, gives each style its own page, each real town its own page and each artist a page, so the person who types a style meets a page about that style.
Part of the demand is also noise. Lip blush is a shelf product at a drugstore as well as a service, and microblading pulls tutorials and course shoppers. A sound plan keeps those searchers out of your ads.
The pages a PMU studio site needs, from the brow page to the artist page
- Microblading, powder brows, combination brows
A page for each brow style
Searchers pick a style before they pick a studio, and some type two styles side by side. Each style your artists offer gets a page in the studio's own words.
- Smaller searches, steady ones
A lip blush page and a permanent eyeliner page
Lip and liner searches are smaller than brow searches, and each deserves its own page and its own ad group.
A town page for each place a client will drive from
Pages only for towns your calendar truly welcomes. The listing side of this is covered in Maps listings and local SEO.
An artist page for every artist in the studio
Each artist has their own chair hours, so each gets a page naming the styles that artist takes and how to ask for a consultation.
A retouch and color boost page for returning clients
Returning clients fill a calendar from inside. A page and a reminder routine, sent when the studio chooses, give them a place to land.
A page on what moves a fee, written by the studio
Cost gets searched in every word order, from microblading cost to how much is lip blush. The studio words its own page, with no figures from us. Our fees are on the pricing page.
Organic Growth for the pages, Paid Ads for the open chair hours
- Found while someone is still comparing brow styles
Organic Growth
A person weighing up microblading against powder brows, or wondering about lip blush, usually types the style first and only then looks for a studio name. We answer those searches with pages in the studio's own wording, a Maps listing that reflects how bookings truly happen, and a tidy written profile for AI assistants to quote. The upper two tiers include a studio website that our team looks after.
- Ads for the weeks when a chair sits open
Paid Ads
Each campaign starts from the thing people ask: which style, which studio, what it costs, who is nearby. Platforms police appearance and health wording closely, so each ad is kept simple and you approve every line before anything runs. The platforms bill their own clicks to you; what you pay us covers the building, the writing and the tuning, and is never padded with media money.
What searchers type, and which studio page should meet them
| Brow, lip or liner stage | What the searcher types | Page that should meet them |
|---|---|---|
| Brows, one style | microblading near me | a microblading page naming the towns the studio really serves |
| Brows, comparing | powder brows versus microblading | a comparison page worded by the studio itself |
| Lips | lip blush near me | a lip blush page, matched by a Google Maps listing |
| Lips, choosing color | lip blush colors | a lip page describing how color gets chosen at the consultation |
| Eyes | permanent eyeliner styles | a liner page in the artist's own descriptions |
| Cost curiosity | microblading cost | a fee page naming the factors, no figures supplied by us |
| Returning client | microblading touch ups | a retouch and color boost page |
Four things said to PMU studios that the artist's calendar can answer
Heard in a studio group chatWin the word microblading and the consultation requests will follow.
What the calendar says backIt is the biggest single word and also the noisiest, shared with course shoppers and supply buyers, and it names one style. A style plus a town is closer to a person ready to talk.
Heard in a studio group chatA bigger pile of consultation requests is automatically good news.
What the calendar says backEvery artist has only so many chair hours, and a request that cannot be seated becomes an apology email. Reach should follow what the calendar can take.
Heard in a studio group chatOne portfolio page is enough to carry the whole studio.
What the calendar says backA portfolio page serves someone who already likes your work. It does not meet a person typing a style, a town or an artist's name, and permanent makeup SEO works by giving each of those somewhere to land.
Heard in a studio group chatA marketing agency should describe how the work will look.
What the calendar says backWe do not. What a studio says about its work, and about anyone's face or skin, is said by the studio in its own words. We build the pages around those words.
A month with us, set beside your artists' calendars
We begin with a conversation about the styles your artists take on, the towns your clients really come from and the chair hours that are open. That conversation decides which parts of permanent makeup SEO come first and whether ads belong in the plan at all.
Our job ends at the moment someone asks for a consultation. Everything past that point, the mapping, the chair and what the studio says about its work, belongs to the studio, and this agency does marketing and nothing else.
Appearance topics are touchy ground on every ad platform, and the wording keeps moving, so before a campaign starts the studio checks what each platform publishes today. Our ads do not assert or hint at anything about a person's face, skin, looks or health.
Each month closes with a sheet listing the pages and ads we put live and the calls and requests that came in. We do not promise rankings, bookings or dates, because no agency controls those.

What PMU studio owners ask before they write to an agency
What do posted fees look like for a studio with a handful of styles?
For the search plans, Silver costs $1,495 a month and brings 25 new landing pages monthly, 4 Strategic Content Assets, on-page and technical SEO, Google Business Profile, citations, review management, AI search work and reporting, but no website. Gold is $2,495 with 50 pages, 8 assets and a fully managed custom website, hosting and maintenance included. Platinum is $3,495 with 100 pages, 12 assets and the website. Paid ads management runs $895 for one platform, $1,595 for two and $2,295 for three, ad spend extra and paid straight to the platform. No contract. Details are on the pricing page.
Should a new artist in a rented booth start with pages or with ads?
It depends on what the calendar needs this month. Pages are the standing home for a style, a town and an artist's name, and they keep meeting searchers whether or not an ad is running. Ads reach people while chair hours are open and the pages are still being written. Some studios run both, with ads weighted toward the artist whose book has the most room. The services page sets the two side by side.
Will you write the studio's descriptions of the work itself?
No. What a studio says about a style, an appointment or anyone's face or skin is said by the studio, in its own words, on its own pages. We build the structure around those words: the style page that exists, the town it serves, the artist who offers it and the consultation request that follows.
My studio has two locations and one artist who works at both. How do the pages work?
Each real location gets its own page and its own Google Business Profile, and each artist gets a page naming the locations where that artist takes consultations. Style pages stay shared, so a searcher in either town reaches the right chair.
Do you sell consultation requests, or take a share of a booking?
No to both. Our fee is flat and monthly, and every request that comes from your pages or your ads goes only to your studio. Lead marketplaces tend to resell one person to several studios. We work the other way round, on channels your studio owns.
Does ranking for microblading help my lip blush and permanent eyeliner pages?
Not on its own, and nothing about rankings is promised here. Lip blush and permanent eyeliner searches come from different people with different questions, so each style needs its own page and its own listing details, linked from the brow pages so a visitor can find the rest of the menu.
Which chair needs more consultation requests this month: brows, lips or liner?
Name the styles you would like to book more often, the towns your regulars drive in from and how the calendar looks right now. Back comes one monthly figure and an honest opinion on the first thing worth trying. Client names and photos stay out of the note, because it is a marketing chat and never a booking.
The color wheel, the brow and the liner stroke are drawings. None of them is a sample of anyone's work, and they say nothing about any studio or any client.
